This VGA/YPbPr to HDMI Converter is designed to convert analog VGA signal from PC or component signal (YPbPr) from component-enabled source, such as: PS2, STB, DVD, HD player etc. to HDMI signal.  It allows you to bridge the connection between your VGA- or component-enabled source and your HDMI-enabled LCD or plasma TV.  So it can provide supporting service to STB or DVD manufacturer.  You can have an HDMI output on your STB or DVD by adding this board.
